Softball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss

Fremont had taken Box Elder down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Fremont Silverwolves lost 12-2 to the Box Elder Bees. The defeat leaves the Silverwolves still looking for their first win of the season.

Savannah Palmatier was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Saige Steele also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Box Elder, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 defeat against Copper Hills on the 8th. As for Box Elder, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-3 victory against Parowan on the 8th.
