Softball Recap: Chesapeake Falls Short of Northeast in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chesapeake can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the Northeast Eagles on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Chesapeake's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Northeast, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

Chesapeake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northeast, they will take on Old Mill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
