Volleyball Recap: Cheney Blackhawks vs. Lewis & Clark Tigers
Cheney came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lewis & Clark Tigers, falling 3-0. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lewis & Clark scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.
Cheney's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Lewis & Clark, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cheney will challenge rival Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lewis & Clark is set to face off against their familiar foe Mt. Spokane at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
