Mid-Carolina and Clinton are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Mid-Carolina Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Clinton Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Mid-Carolina has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Clinton will arrive with three straight wins.

Mid-Carolina's last matchup with Fairfield Central could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. Mid-Carolina lost 62-42 to Fairfield Central. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rebels have suffered against the Griffins since February 9, 2016.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Clinton beat Eau Claire 53-48 on Friday.

Mid-Carolina's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Mid-Carolina suffered a grim 65-40 defeat to Clinton in their previous matchup back in January. Can Mid-Carolina avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
