Volleyball Recap: The Village School of Naples Takes a Loss

The Village School of Naples lost against Babcock two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trailblazers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 18-25, 25-18.

Babcock was led to victory by Talia Matten and Lilly Palmeri. Matten had 18 digs and two aces, while Palmeri had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs Matten has posted over her last eight matches.

The Village School of Naples' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Babcock, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Coming up, The Village School of Naples will be playing at home against Donahue Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Babcock, they will head out on the road to take on The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
