Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Tipton Christian Academy

Trinity Christian Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Tipton Christian Academy Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 27-25, 25-22.

Mallory Arnold paced Trinity Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Arnold got some help from Edie Allen and her 23 assists. Allen also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jenna Joyce, racking up two apiece.

Despite the defeat, Tipton Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Maggie Elder had nine digs and four aces. Elder is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Abby Ward also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Trinity Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Jackson Christian on the 22nd. As for Tipton Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Tipton-Rosemark Academy on the 18th.
