Volleyball Recap: Stockbridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Stockbridge challenged Locust Grove on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13.

Stockbridge dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Locust Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Stockbridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hampton on the 9th. As for Locust Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 9th.
