Baseball Recap: Navajo Pine's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wingate, Navajo Pine was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Northwest Falcons by a score of 6-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Anthony Sandoval, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kyler Nez, who earned one run and three stolen bases.

Navajo Pine's victory bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Northwest, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Navajo Pine will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair will be back at it again later today.
