Abington Heights waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Delaware Valley Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Abington Heights found their leader in sophomore Chris Cummins, who had nine digs and two aces.
Abington Heights' victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Delaware Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
After both having extra time off, Abington Heights and Freedom will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Delaware Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
