Soccer Recap: Manheim Township's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Manheim Township had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hempfield Black Knights. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Manheim Township's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Hempfield are ranked 125th).

Regan Taylor and Stella Faranda-Diedrich scored all three of Manheim Township's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Manheim Township's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Hempfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.
