Plumas Charter was forced to take a big defeat against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Monday. They walked away with a 17-13 win over the Princeton Eagles. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Plumas Charter got a massive performance out of Aubrie Schramel, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Schramel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaiya Beatty, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Plumas Charter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Plumas Charter moved to 4-14-1 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak. As for Princeton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6-1 record this season.

Plumas Charter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Chester on the 30th. As for Princeton, they will welcome CORE Butte at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
