Softball Recap: South Medford Takes a Loss

It was a classic North v. South duel when South Medford took on North Medford on Monday. The Panthers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Black Tornado. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Black Tornado recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jayden Cote was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

South Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for North Medford, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Coincidentally, South Medford and North Medford will both be playing Roseburg the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Black Tornado will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
