Basketball Game Preview: Horseshoe Bend Mustangs vs. Cascade Ramblers + How To Watch

Horseshoe Bend is 2-8 against Cascade since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Horseshoe Bend is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Greenleaf Friends Academy on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Mustangs were beaten by the Grizzlies 75-36. The Mustangs were down 57-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Horseshoe Bend saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Damian Olsen posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Cascade kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 38-29 to Idaho City.

Horseshoe Bend might still be hurting after the 59-39 defeat they got from Cascade in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
