Basketball Recap: Kenedy Piles Up the Points Against Skidmore-Tynan

Kenedy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 70-40 victory over the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-42 on January 3rd.

Kenedy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karsen Reyes, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 17 points along with eight steals and six assists. That's the most steals Reyes has posted since back in December of 2024. Daniel Pena was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine steals.

Kenedy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in 11 consecutive games.

Kenedy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-16 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Skidmore-Tynan, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15.
