Clinton Christian Academy came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the El Dorado Christian Buffalos with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Clinton Christian Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-16.

Maggie Foster paced Clinton Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Foster got some help from Hadley Brewer and her 11 assists. Brewer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mackenzie Jones, racking up four apiece.

Clinton Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-2-1. As for El Dorado Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clinton Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, El Dorado Christian will take on rival Heartland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
