Billingsley waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Isabella Mustangs get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Give the Bears' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Landon Jones was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Billingsley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Isabella, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Coming up, Billingsley's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Marion at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Isabella, they will head out to take on Autauga Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Isabella is facing Autauga Academy at the right time seeing as Autauga Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
