Football Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Saint Ignatius College Prep was the 31-14 winner over IC Catholic Prep when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolfpack came up short against the Knights on Friday, falling 33-12.

A big part of IC Catholic Prep's win came down to the chemistry between Nate Lang and his top target Grant Bowen. Lang threw for 203 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes while Bowen picked up 79 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Saint Ignatius College Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for IC Catholic Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Saint Ignatius College Prep and IC Catholic Prep will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolfpack will face off against rival Chicago Mt. Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, IC Catholic Prep is set to take on their familiar foe Nazareth Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
