Volleyball Game Preview: Whitinsville Christian Crusaders vs. Nipmuc Regional Warriors

Whitinsville Christian is 2-8 against Nipmuc Regional since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Warriors at 5:00 p.m.

Whitinsville Christian had taken Hopedale down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the Blue Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Crusaders have suffered against the Blue Raiders since September 25, 2023.

Meanwhile, Nipmuc Regional entered their tilt with Millbury on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Woolies.

Nipmuc Regional got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 28-30, 25-16.

Whitinsville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Nipmuc Regional, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
