Soccer Recap: San Jose Takes a Loss

San Jose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Gilroy Mustangs. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

San Jose's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Gilroy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which lines up perfectly with their 8-2-2 record this season.

San Jose has already played their next game (against Evergreen Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gilroy will challenge Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Independence's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
