Elgin waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the East Knox Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elgin easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

Jordan Wall paced Elgin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wall got some help from Kadence Gear and her 13 assists.

Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for East Knox, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Elgin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Wynford on the 15th. As for East Knox, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Centerburg on the 16th.
