Basketball Recap: Hale Comes Up Short

Hale was the 50-37 winner over Northwestern when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals lost 70-47 to the Eagles on Thursday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Northwestern, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Hale will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grundy County/Newtown-Harris at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Northwestern, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-40 win against Linn County on the 6th.
