Dodgeland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Wayland Academy with a sharp 3-0 win.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-5, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Kayden Denure, who had 22 assists and four digs. That's the most assists she has posted over her last eight contests.
Dodgeland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matches.
Deerfield came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Oakfield, but Lily Collien wouldn't allow it. The Oaks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Demons last Tuesday thanks in part to Collien, who had 17 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Oakfield easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.
Dodgeland's record is now 19-12. As for Oakfield, their record now sits at 16-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Dodgeland has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Oakfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Dodgeland came up short against Oakfield in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 2-0. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
