Recap: East Clarendon Wolverines vs. Hemingway Tigers
The East Clarendon Wolverines scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Hemingway, posting a 67-13 win at home. East Clarendon has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.
East Clarendon found their leader in underclassman Courtney McFadden, who scored three points along with 34 steals. Hayden White was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
East Clarendon pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Hemingway, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
East Clarendon will head out on the road to square off against Johnsonville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Johnsonville comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Hemingway, they will be playing at home against Carvers Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Carvers Bay presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hemingway in South Carolina (Carvers Bay is ranked 108th, while Hemingway is ranked 266th).
