Football Recap: Renaissance Academy Knights vs. Jenkintown Drakes
Renaissance Academy fell victim to Jenkintown and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 61-0 loss at the hands of the Jenkintown Drakes. The defeat leaves the Knights without a win on the season.
It was another big night for Keegan Eichert, who rushed for 158 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries for Jenkintown. Those 158 rushing yards gave Eichert a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Cooper, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Renaissance Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Jenkintown, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Renaissance Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jenkintown, they will venture away from home to take on Morrisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morrisville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 31.2 points per game this season.
