Softball Recap: Idaho Falls Takes a Loss

Idaho Falls suffered their closest defeat since April 30, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Skyline Grizzlies by a score of 7-5. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost three in a row.

Olivia Cordon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Shea Salem, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Idaho Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Skyline, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Idaho Falls will face off against Hillcrest at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they will square off against Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
