Baseball Recap: Buffalo Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Buffalo won against Groesbeck on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bison beat the Teague Lions by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-5. This was payback for the Bison, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Buffalo and bumps their season record up to 3-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Teague, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Buffalo will challenge rival Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Teague is set to square off against their familiar foe Elkhart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
