Basketball Recap: Woodsboro Takes a Loss

Woodsboro suffered their biggest loss since November 21st on Tuesday. They lost 58-34 to the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost six in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Woodsboro lost, don't look at Jaqulynn Tully. Despite the final result, she posted 20 points. That was a full 58.8% of Woodsboro's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Woodsboro's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Skidmore-Tynan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Woodsboro will welcome Lytle at 3:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Skidmore-Tynan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-31 defeat against Bishop on the 19th.
