Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity). They put the hurt on the Southern Guilford Storm with a sharp 5-2 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Trinity needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Trinity moved to 2-4-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Southern Guilford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Trinity didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Leadership Academy on the 10th. Hopefully Southern Guilford paid attention to the Bulldogs' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
