Softball Recap: Hill Country Christian School of Austin Comes Up Short

Hill Country Christian School of Austin saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boling Bulldogs. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saylor Singleton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one triple and one run. Zoie Leick also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Boling, their record now sits at 3-6.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-1 loss against Edna on the 1st. Boling will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against East Bernard at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th.
