Softball Recap: Indian Creek Comes Up Short

Indian Creek's last matchup with Newark could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Timberwolves came up short against the Norsemen, falling 12-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Norsemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 on Monday.

Gretta Oziah was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. Mckenzie Greer was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Indian Creek has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Newark, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.
