Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calvary Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on October 7th.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Calvary, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-9.

Calvary has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against North Greene on the 25th. Hopefully Lutheran paid attention to the Saints' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
