Volleyball Game Preview: Deep Creek Hornets vs. Western Branch Bruins + How To Watch

The Deep Creek Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Western Branch Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deep Creek is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Deep Creek lost 3-0 to Grassfield on Thursday.

While Deep Creek ultimately came up short, they really made Grassfield work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Western Branch made easy work of Nansemond River on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

While Western Branch won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Deep Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Western Branch, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Deep Creek couldn't quite get it done against Western Branch in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
