Volleyball Recap: Los Osos' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Los Osos unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Redlands Terriers. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Terriers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Los Osos lost, don't look at Josslyn Jacks. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and 11 kills. Jacks is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Chloe Taylor was another key player, getting six digs and five kills.

Los Osos' defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Redlands, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Los Osos didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Etiwanda on the 16th. As for Redlands, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Murrieta Mesa on the 13th.
