Battlefield is 8-0-2 against Osbourn Park since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bobcats will host the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Battlefield is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Gainesville just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Battlefield came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Gainesville are ranked 176th).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Osbourn Park was not quite Freedom's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Osbourn Park's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-5-1. As for Battlefield, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.

Battlefield skirted past Osbourn Park 1-0 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
