Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Forest walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Poplarville Hornets on Saturday as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering the Bearcats have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Forest is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six games. As for Poplarville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10-1.
