Football Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Era Hornets and fell 30-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 40-18 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Era, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Valley View and Era will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Eagles see the field they'll take on Henrietta at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Era, their break will end when they face Santo at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
