BASIS Phoenix has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Phoenix Christian Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, BASIS Phoenix came up short against Northland Prep Academy and fell 48-41.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Christian's 17-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 51-32 to Highland Prep.
BASIS Phoenix's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Phoenix Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.
Everything went BASIS Phoenix's way against Phoenix Christian in their previous meeting back in November as BASIS Phoenix made off with a 46-25 win. Will BASIS Phoenix repeat their success, or does Phoenix Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
