Teague suffered their closest defeat since March 8, 2025 on Friday. They fell just short of the Groesbeck Goats by a score of 5-3. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Goats earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Teague's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Groesbeck, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record this season.

Teague has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 defeat against Clifton on the 7th. As for Groesbeck, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-4 win against Westwood on the 7th.
