Softball Recap: Williamsport Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boonsboro, Williamsport was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the South Hagerstown Rebels by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Williamsport back to even at 1-1. As for South Hagerstown, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Williamsport is set to face off against their familiar foe Smithsburg on Friday. Meanwhile, South Hagerstown will square off against rival North Hagerstown at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. This will be South Hagerstown's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
