Hope was the 68-61 winner over Cranston East when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Hope Blue Wave took a blow against the Cranston East Thunderbolts on Friday, falling 62-34. The match marked the Blue Wave's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hope now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Cranston East, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Hope won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Block Island at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hope is facing Block Island at the right time seeing as Block Island is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Cranston East has already played their next game (against West Warwick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
