Baseball Recap: Lewis & Clark Comes Up Short

Lewis & Clark came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Central Valley Bears, falling 12-2. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Lewis & Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Central Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

While Lewis & Clark had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
