Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Saints vs. Lake County Panthers
Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lake County Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-21, 25-15.
Lake County can attribute much of their success to Aries Tapia, who had 14 digs.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Lake County, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Alameda on the 19th. Lake County has also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Arrupe Jesuit on the 17th.
