Basketball Recap: Sunset Takes a Loss

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 52-31 to the Grant Generals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Apollos of the 59-51 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2016.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Grant, they moved to 5-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Sunset will welcome Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Grant, they will challenge Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
