Baseball Game Preview: Easley Green Wave vs. Greenwood Eagles

For the second straight game, Easley will face off against Greenwood. The Green Wave will head out to face off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Easley is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Easley came up short against Greenwood and fell 4-1.

For Greenwood's part, Luke Godwin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up eight Ks. Godwin has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Greenwood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Adams, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Landen Still was another, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Easley now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Greenwood, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
