Basketball Recap: Expression Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Expression Prep Academy's last matchup with Capital could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Cougars, falling 58-32. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Capital found their leader in sophomore Kahsi Morgan, who posted nine points. Darius Thomas was another key player, putting up seven points.

Expression Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Expression Prep Academy and Teays Valley Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Capital, they will square off against Greater Beckley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
