If Powers was riding high fresh off their 57-28 takedown of Falls City/Kings Valley Charter last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Powers Cruisers'2024 ended with a 49-31 loss against Monroe/Alsea on Saturday. The Cruisers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Powers now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Monroe/Alsea, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Powers will challenge Gold Beach at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Monroe/Alsea does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
