Softball Recap: Reedsburg Beavers vs. La Crosse Logan Rangers

After losing to La Crosse Logan the last time they met, Reedsburg decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Beavers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Rangers on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.

Cheyenne Raupp made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Reedsburg's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for La Crosse Logan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.
