Softball Recap: Reedsburg Has No Trouble Against La Crosse Logan

After losing to La Crosse Logan the last time they met, Reedsburg decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Beavers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Rangers on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.

Cheyenne Raupp made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kylee Molitor was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Elizabeth Haag was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Reedsburg's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for La Crosse Logan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Coincidentally, Reedsburg and La Crosse Logan will both be playing Sauk Prairie the next time they take the field. The Rangers will head out to face the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Beavers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
