Turner County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Johnson County Trojans with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 69-54. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Despite the loss, Johnson County still got an impressive performance from Ziyah Lewis, who posted 30 points and eight boards. With that strong performance, Lewis is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of S'Riyah Bostick, who put up nine points and eight rebounds.

Turner County's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Johnson County, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Turner County is taking a road trip to face off against Macon County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Turner County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. Johnson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
