Soccer Recap: Gulf Breeze Takes Down Choctawhatchee in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gulf Breeze walked away with it. They came out on top against the Choctawhatchee Indians by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Dolphins' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Choctawhatchee with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Dannreuther, Seamus Ladner, Jackson Crowder, and Jonas Noury.

Gulf Breeze's win bumped their record up to 13-6-3. As for Choctawhatchee, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-4-3 record.

Gulf Breeze will face off against Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Booker T. Washington will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Gulf Breeze surely won't give up without a fight. Choctawhatchee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
