It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Webster Thomas can now relate to. They fell just short of the Horseheads Blue Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Jacob Dicicco was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Webster Thomas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ LaLoggia, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Webster Thomas' loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Horseheads, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
